Verna Raikes Ritz is a retired librarian/archivist who has loved books ever since her first Nancy Drew mystery. Thirty three years ago the desire to write a mystery drew her and her sister together to begin writing Last Resort. She thanks Bonnie for finishing the book in 2000, and sheparding it through the Amazon self-publishing process in 2025.
